Japanese developer Odencat has posted a new video from Bear’s Restaurant, his graphic adventure that premiered on mobile phones a couple of years ago and that little by little makes the leap to other platforms. A couple of months ago it came to Switch with good reviews and now it is announced that in September coming to Steam
In this way, the game that lasts a little more than an hour, begins to reach the market of premium platforms. In the mobile world he did well, at least from the critics who have praised the narrative, the characters and the “emotional punch” of the atmosphere.
Bear purgatory
And is that Bear’s Restaurant is a title without enemies, combat or other challenges, the idea is to enjoy the ride since the objectives will be quite linear and in general we will be reading dialogues and observing the world.
We will play Cat (Cat), Bear’s assistant (Bear) in this restaurant that is not like any other. This establishment forms a connection between the earthly and the afterlife, which is why some cultures might call it “purgatory.” Bear is on a mission to serve the last meal to these passing souls.
In the process we will know what happened to them, what led them to this site and what things they left undone in their life. So we already know what to expect in this adventure that promises to be tearful.
