In case you don’t remember them, the series of games Wild Arms were JRPGs developed by Media Vision. They were heavily influenced by the Wild West aesthetic despite their science fiction and fantasy plots. For its part, the trilogy of Shadow Hearts for PS2 was developed by Aruze in the continuity of the PS1 game Koudelka. It drew attention in its day for its combination of historical plots with cosmic horror. They also belonged to the JRPG genre.
