Player First Games has released a new patch (1.2.3) for Multiversuswhich adds general changes, fixes bugs, and adjusts the balance and movement of some characters. Currently, patch 1.2.3 of Multiversus is already in effect. Additionally, we tell you that Beetlejuice and Agent Smith continue to receive alterations, since the community has expressed that these characters require improvements. However, they are not the only characters that have received a touch-up in patch 1.2.3 of Multiversus. So, below we will tell you what are the general and balance changes that are included in patch 1.2.3 of Multiversus.
General and balance changes in patch 1.2.3 Multiversus
- All fighters are now available to play in local game modes. General Combat
- With the Ground Bounce Auto-Tech system now in place, we can start to see more ground bounce and improved combo paths and approach options. This is the beginning of this effort.
- Down and down-forward air dodges will now land more reliably on platforms.
- Certain aerial attacks now maintain less momentum when executed as part of a dodge from a platform.
General bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where controller vibration was not reproduced correctly.
- Fixed an issue where Marceline’s Ringout was disabled.
- Fixed an issue where voice lines would not play for some characters.
Cracks
- The “In The Shadows” gem is now enabled again.
- Fixed camera issues that prevented progress during the co-op golf minigame.
Agent Smith Changes in Patch 1.2.3 Multiversus
- Upward attack from the ground: The impact cancellation window is moved forward 2 frames.
- Upward attack from the air: Motion replay lock is reduced to 13 frames (was 18).
- Neutral special from the air: The startup window before loading is reduced by 4 frames.
What are the changes to Beetlejuice in patch 1.2.3? Multiversus?
- Ground running attack:
- Thrust scaling is increased to 20 from 18.
- Damage increased to 9 from 8.
- Side attack 2 from the ground:
- The impact cancellation window is moved forward 1 frame.
- Stun time after hit is reduced.
- Side attack 3 from the ground: The start window is reduced by 3 frames.
- Downward attack from the ground: The startup window before loading is reduced by 4 frames.
- Upward attack from the ground:
- The impact cancellation window is moved forward 5 frames.
- The hitbox is updated to better match the fist on the upward attack.
- Side attack from the air:
- Damage increased to 8 from 7.
- Thrust scaling is increased to 15 from 13.5.
- Upward attack from the air:
- Damage increased to 7 from 6.
- Thrust scaling is increased to 9 from 8.
- Down Special from the Ground: Fixed an issue where bomb visual effects would remain on screen if the ground disappeared from under Beetlejuice.
- Side special from the air:
- Weakspot hitbox damage increased to 7 from 5.
- Weak Point Hitbox Thrust reduced to 2650 from 2800.
- Thrust scaling is increased to 15 from 9.
Garnet Changes in Patch 1.2.3 Multiversus
- Improved “Marker”: Gauntlets no longer generate a star if the gauntlets are too close to the edge of the arena.
Jake Changes in Patch 1.2.3 Multiversus
- Side special in the air/ground
- Fixed an issue where Jake would not appear to be running while moving as a horse.

- Downward attack in the air (versions with and without basketball): Now allows fast knockdown during attack start.
- Neutral attack in the air: More upward air momentum is maintained at the start of the attack.
Morty Changes in Patch 1.2.3 Multiversus
This is a revert to the changes to Side Air Attack 1 from Patch 1.2.0. This should make Side Air Attack more reliable at connecting with Side Air Attack 2 and should bring back its ground bounce properties due to the knockback angle appearing less.
- Side Air Attack 1:
- The retracement was reduced to 1000 from 1300.
- The recoil scale was reduced to 5 from 6.
- The recoil angle has been made more horizontal, allowing for more bounces off the ground.
- Downward attack in the air:
- Hitbox startup time increased by 1 frame; hitbox active duration increased by 1 frame.
- Visual effects now better match the attack properties.
- Upward attack on the ground:
- Weapon tip hitbox damage increased to 6 from 1.
- The retracement increased to 1350 from 750.
What are the changes to Reindog in patch 1.2.3? Multiversus?
- Side attack on the ground 1: Reduced the stun on hit.
- Side attack in the air: The recoil was made more downward to allow for ground bounce combos.
- Neutral attack in the air: Projectile startup time reduced by 1 frame.
Shaggy Changes in Patch 1.2.3 Multiversus
- Special lateral in the air with fury: Fixed an issue where this attack would unintentionally break armor.
Taz Changes in Patch 1.2.3 Multiversus
- Dodge landing: Fixed an issue where Taz’s dodge landing would not slide off of platforms.
