After one monthState of Play returned in March (03/09/2022) with new trailers and game announcements. As has already been announced, this edition mainly focused on games from Japanese companies. However, the public was caught off guard by several revelations. You better be ready for the return of several classics!

What at first seemed like a Dino Crisis with a greater focus on action ended up being Capcom’s new intellectual property: Exoprimal. This title will be set in the year 2043. Portals open daily throughout the world that drop waves of dinosaurs. in control of the Exofighters -the trailer shows that different classes can be chosen, each with their own abilities-, players will have to kill all the dinosaurs while competing against other squads in games of ‘5 against 5’.

Exoprimal It’s coming to PS4 and PS5 sometime in 2023.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin

A new demo of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin It will be available from today for all PlayStation users. This will allow you to explore the first three areas of the game. Additionally, any progress made can be carried over to the full title.

Gundam Evolution

Through a trailer, Bandai Namco Entertainment reveals the frenetic ‘6 against 6’ combat that will characterize the first-person shooter title of Gundam. Players will be able to choose between 14 Mobile Suits —each with their own abilities— and 3 game modes that will put their accuracy and teamwork to the test. The preview also reveals that a closed beta will be held during the second quarter of 2022.

Gundam Evolution It will come to PS4 and PS5 sometime in 2022. It will be ‘free-to-play’.

Meet the ultimate Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles retro game compilation! This will contain 13 classics. These will include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1989), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game (1989), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of the Foot Clan (1990), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time (1991), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Back from the Sewers (1991), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project (1991), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist (1992), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Radical Rescue (1993) and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (1993).

From the hand of Passion Republic Games, gigabash it will be a ‘fighter arena’ for 4 players. As the trailer shows, they will be able to choose between 10 giant monsters that pay homage to classics of the ‘tokusatsu’ genre. Best of all, it will have both local and online multiplayer.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R

The 2013 fighting game returns on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure! This enhanced edition will not only have all the DLC that the original title received, but it will also receive changes aimed at balancing the gaming experience and making it faster. As if that weren’t enough, the game will feature the voices of the ‘seiyū’ from the ‘anime’.

Trek to Yomi

From the hand of Flying Wild Hog and Devolver Digital, Trek to Yomi will take players back to the Edo period of Japan. In the shoes of the young swordsman Hiroki, they must go beyond life and death to protect their home. Director Akira Kurosawa’s work not only inspired the visual presentation of the game, but also informed the level design in a 2D perspective.

Trek to Yomi It will arrive on PS4 and PS5 during the second quarter of 2022.

Returnal Ascension

If the mobile title is not counted Valkyrie Anatomia: The Originmore than 10 years had passed since the announcement of a delivery of Valkyrie Profile. The first trailer for Valkyrie Elysium reveals the protagonist, a young Valkyrie whose mission is to prevent Ragnarok. Although she will be quite capable, she will have the help of allies that she can summon in the middle of the fights. This entry also marks the return of composer Motoi Sakuraba.
