During the Summer Game Fest 2023 presentation, Square Enix revealed a new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. This PS5 exclusive continues the reimagined story of Final Fantasy VII Remake of 2020. This sequel was announced a year ago along with other universe games FFVII. The second chapter in the new story of Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, Barret and Red XIII continues to deviate from the original 1997 RPG, outside of Midgar and into a more open world.

The combat continues to be a hybrid of the turns with more action, while in the graphics and its scenarios is where Final Fantasy VII Rebirth have a chance to shine. In fact, the game is so ambitious that it will make use of two PlayStation 5 discs, reminiscent of the good old days of the first PlayStation. The road to Nibelheim will lead us to remember a meeting from the past between Sephiroth and Tifa, but we do not guarantee that the events happen as is.
And FFVII Remake did everything to indicate that this story does not follow the same routes of his inspiration, Aerith is another of the characters whose fates changed in the process.
