There are aspects in which this ‘remake’ is a very different game to the Silent Hill 2 original, but even in those differences there are tributes, since there are ‘vestiges of the past’ – a static effect that occurs when we review important points of the game on which it is based – and in this guide we will help you find them all.

South Vale (East)
1 – After passing the first locked door, we interact with the tunnel entrance
2 – After arriving at the town itself, we turned towards this locked door leading to Vachss Streetwhich is where we entered the town in 2001.
3 – After defeating the first enemy and getting the radio, we go to the northernmost part of Martin Street (next to the building where we found the enemy) and interact with the blood stain.
4 – Another vestige of the past of the remake of Silent Hill 2 is in the trash can to the right of the entrance door to the Woodside Apartments.
5 – In the small space in the blockade at the west end of Katz Street, just below the Blue Creek Apartments.

6 – In the corner of room 212, where the scratch marks are.

7 – After going down through the hole in the floor and entering room 110 we find another of the vestiges of this guide’s past, which is a reference to the coin cabinet from the first Silent Hill 2.
8 – After completing the clock puzzle, we go to the first floor and before going through the door with the ‘S’, we interact with the corpse of an enemy next to the stairs.
South Vale (West)
9 – In the door south of the bowling alley.
10 – Inside the bowling alley, inspecting the pizza box. This is another of the vestiges of the past of this guide of Silent Hill 2 Remake What a reference to the original game, since this is one of the points where we found Eddie.
Hospital Brookhaven
11 – In the second floor laundry room.
12 – Second floor room M1.
13 – In medical records on the second floor, down through room L1 on the third floor.
14 – After solving the puzzles in the principal’s office, Exploring the broken grate on the ceiling.
15 – After falling from the roof. Blood stains in room I3 on the third floor.
Brookhaven Hospital (Another World)
16 – In the northeast corner of room M5 (floor 2). It is a point on the wall with painted hands and a cement filling.
South Vale – East (Another World)
17 – The Map Blood-stained map on the bar at Neely’s Bar, right in front of the engraving point.
Toluca Prison
18 – On one of the cafeteria tables. It’s the room we fall into and where we find Eddie.
