The Game Kitchen’s excellent metroidvania sequel was one of our favorite games of 2023 and since we finished it we are eager for more of its disturbing and blasphemous world. Fortunately, the wait will be over soon. They have already announced the date of the DLC Blasphemous 2 through a trailer that suggests a mysterious story.

This trailer reveals a mysterious new character carrying a sword with the image of a corpse on it and a broken golden mask that reveals part of his face. We also see the heart of the Miracle in the sky, so we know that the DLC’s story will take place during the story of Blasphemous 2 and not after.
We also hear a voice speaking of a new blessing from the Miracle and of undergoing the tests of his master. We do not yet know who this voice belongs to, but it is obviously not that of the penitent.
The DLC is named after Mea Culpa, the sword used by the Penitent One in the first game.
When does the DLC come out? Blasphemous 2?
According to the trailer, the release date of the DLC My fault of Blasphemous 2 will be the Thursday, October 31, 2024. We have no information about its price.
