The Periphery, the new characters Caesar and Burnice of the Sons of Calydon, new events, gachapones, codes and the start date of the next update were revealed in the presentation of Stygian Journey, version 1.2 of Zenless Zone Zero.

The update will be available from the evening of Tuesday, September 24, 2024.
New character gachapones
We had already had the pleasure of meeting César King and Burnice Whitethe new characters that arrive in gachapones to version 1.2 of Zenless Zone Zero.
- Caesar King is a S-rank Defensive – Physical character who relies on flawless blocking to counterattack. She will be available in Phase 1 of gachapons of version 1.2 from September 24th along with her exclusive S-rank booster: Raging Fangs.
- Burnice White is an Anomalous – Fiery S-Rank character who uses two Flamethrowers to easily inflict Scorch status on enemies. He will be available in Phase 1 of gachapons of version 1.2 starting October 15th along with his exclusive S-Rank Booster: Incandescent Shaker.
We also have Moccus Tinto, the new Sons of Calydon bangbu, available in his own gachapon throughout the version.
New events
- It will be available Chapter 4 of the main plot‘Travesía estiga’
- We will be able to play Burnice’s special agent mission‘Strike of luck’
- At the event Feast of the supreme chief We will visit a town on the outskirts called Villardiente where we will participate in a restaurant mini-game.
- A new minigame called will appear Unusual Brigade in the arcade of Barrio 6. It seems inspired by Vampire Survivors.
- At the event Ethereal wandering We will play the equivalent of a shooting and spaceship game inside a Cavity.
- In Ride Guide we can make literal puzzles.
There will also be new combat challenges, item drops, and more.
