When is the Genshin Impact version 4.4 update patch released?
The update patch to version 4.3 of Genshin Impact will be available for PC, PS4, PS5 and for iOS and Android mobile phones in the night of Tuesday, January 30, 2024that’s its release date.
The update to the next version, 4.5, should arrive on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 if there are no changes. It is rumored that the new characters in this version would be Chiori and Clorinde, but it is not confirmed.
Gachapones and new characters
They had already reported the new characters of version 4.3 of Genshin Impact will be Xianyun y Gaming. Click on their names to visit their build guides.
Phase 1 will have the new gachapon Xianyun and will be accompanied by the return of the banner Nahida. In both, Gaming will be one of the four-star featured characters.
In phase 2 we will have the return of the gachapones of Xiao y Yae Miko.
New weapon
The representative weapon of ‘Cloud Preserver’ will accompany Xianyun in its launch in the ‘Divine Incarnation’ weapons gachapon: Crane Reverb.
When the wielder of this weapon hits an enemy with a Falling Attack, the damage dealt to nearby characters on the team with this type of attack is increased by 28% for 20 seconds. When a nearby character on the team hits an enemy with a Down Attack, the wearer recovers 2.5 pts. of Elemental Energy. Elemental Energy can only be recovered once every 0.7s in this way.
New events and missions
2024 has already begun and it is time to celebrate again the Lantern Rite in Liyue. This will be represented by new mechanical kites using Fontaine technology.
This event will have three activities:
- paper shadows: We will have to guide Guoba and Yuegi on a grid.
- Joyful beasts and their auspices: a multiplayer activity to get objects before time runs out.
- Iridescent journey through the clouds: A walkthrough mission collecting items.
Finally, we can choose one of Liyue’s 10 four-star characters to join our team, including the new Gaming.
During the version we will also have a cooking minigameanother of infiltration in Hilichurls fields to conduct an investigation, a combat in a special domain against a Samachurl chief and the inevitable combat challenges.
This version will also add the Xianyun’s legendary mission: Grus Serene.
New suits
We will have new suits for Xiangqiu, Ganyu and Shenhe. The first can be obtained by fulfilling certain requirements during the Liyue Lantern Rite event in version 4.4 of Genshin Impact.
The other two can only be obtained by purchasing them in the store.
New area
We will have a new area in Liyue that borders Fontaine: the Valle Chenyu. Here is the Qiaoying Village where Gaming comes from and it will be the area that we will explore in version 4.4 of Genshin Impact.
New boss
The Solitary Suanni is a mythical beast from Chenyu Valley and we will have to defeat it to get the Xianyun upgrade materials.
