When is the Genshin Impact version 4.8 update patch coming out?
As we assumed, the update patch to version 4.8 of Genshin Impact reach Tuesday, July 16, 2024 in the evening hours. and we will be able to start testing the new content in the evening hours of that day.
According to the schedule, this should end with the arrival of version 5.0 on Tuesday, August 27. This is, of course, not official and is subject to change.
Gachapones and new characters
During the Phase 1 from version 4.8 of Genshin Impact the gachapones of Navia and Nilou will return.
In the Level 2 The five-star character banner will be released Emily. We’ve already made a guide for you to prepare your upgrade materials and your best build. It will be accompanied by the return of the Yelan gachapon.
New weapons
The Five Star Spear Lumidulce Elegy It is Émilie’s signature weapon and will arrive in the ‘Divine Incarnation’ banner along with the character’s gachapon.
ATK is increased by 15%. When the wielder of this weapon causes a Burn reaction against an enemy or after dealing Dendro Damage to a burning enemy, the damage dealt is increased by 18%. This effect lasts for 8 sec and can stack up to 2 times. Upon reaching 2 stacks or when the stack duration is reset, it restores 12 pts of Elemental Energy. Elemental Energy can only be restored once every 12 sec this way. These two effects can be triggered even when the character is in your party but not in use.
New events in version 4.8 of Genshin Impact
In addition to Emilie’s legendary quest ‘Pomum de Ambra’ we will have the new special mission of the summer event: ‘Summer, dragon, a fantastic kingdom’. It will take place in a new region called Simulanka and it’s full of origami animals.
In this event we will have four different new activities and we will be able to collect special collectibles that will allow us to obtain —in addition to Primogems and other upgrade materials— the four-star character Kirara and her new costume.
The activities are as follows:
- Borealis Sudden Gust: We fly following a gust to destroy the objectives and get points.
- The Hatter’s Trick: We use a flying hat similar to Mona’s to attract dolls and complete objectives while avoiding the dangers of the stage.
- Test of the metropolis of constellations: a two-team combat test.
- Ingenious replicas: We spend the coins obtained in the other modes to obtain replicas to decorate the Relaxing Teapot. They can be exchanged with other players.
Other events coming at another date during version 4.8 of Genshin Impact son:
- Fantasy theatre: The new permanent game mode with character-specific challenges. Rewards will give that character a special effect when running.
- Gordibolitas pam-pam: This fun minigame is back. Push the fat balls around the game board so that they stay within a specific area. It will be multiplayer.
- Off the canvas, into the lens: a new photography challenge in which we have to take photos of characters.
- Lemma power amplifier: a three-team combat challenge.
New changing rooms
During the summer special event of version 4.8, new costumes for two characters will arrive. Genshin Impact
Kirara’s new costume can be obtained for free by completing objectives during the event. ‘Summer, dragon, a fantastic kingdom’ from version 4.8 of Genshin ImpactNilou’s costumes will be on sale in the store.
Other new features in version 4.8 of Genshin Impact
- There will be an update to the Summoning Sages card game with new character cards.
- Expertise points can now be stored if left over from daily activities and used on daily points using resin.
- Boss respawn time will be reduced to 10 seconds.
- The user interface can be hidden.
- We will be able to review past text and audio of ongoing conversations.
First official look at Natlan’s characters
At the end of the presentation we were able to see a new introduction to the new region of Genshin Impact: Natlan.
