Although it had already been leaked before, it is surprising to see James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo in our game. Riot Games finally officially revealed the skins for Metallica’s collaboration with Fortnitethe start date of season 4 of the Fortnite Festival rhythm game mode and more details of this curious ‘crossover’.

You can see a trailer with the band’s outfits and music below.

In addition to the outfits and songs, we will have a special competitive game mode in Festival.

As expected, the ‘skins’ of James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo are part of the paid or ‘premium’ pass of season 4 of Fortnite Festival and are accompanied by music (‘One‘), loading screens, instruments and emoticons inspired by Metallica’s history.

The pass costs 1800 V Coins and upon purchasing it we will immediately receive the Lars Ulrich outfit or ‘skin’. The outfits of the other members of the band will be obtained as we get points for the pass by playing in Fortnite Festival, with the James Hetfield skin waiting for us at the end of it.

There will be no skins on the free route of the pass.

Fortnite Festival Season 4 Pass and Metallica Rewards Will Be Available in-Game between Thursday, June 13 and Friday, August 16, 2024. If the rumors are correct, they would be replaced by a show starring the Colombian singer Karol G.

James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo will have alternative skins that will arrive in the in-game store and can be purchased independently of the Festival Pass.

These outfits will be available in the store until August 16, 2024.

New game mode: Battle Stage

This is a new way to play Fortnite Festival in which we are paired with a total of 16 players.

When starting, We will all play a song chosen at random from the highlights of the day, choosing instrument and difficulties. At the end of each song, the four players with the lowest score will be eliminated. This will continue until there is only one winner left.

It’s basically a ‘battle royal’ mode for the rhythm game.
