The trailer celebrates and presents all the additional features and improvements introduced in Dawn of Equinoxincluding a reformulation of combat and the implementation of three-player cooperative mode throughout Sea of Stars.
Main features of Dawn of Equinox
New local cooperative mode: one of the main improvements, the history of Sea of Stars It will be fully playable with up to three players, with allies exploring the world together and mastering the new cooperative combat mechanics with timed attacks.
Combat 2.0: The addition of Mystery Locks deepens the gameplay by revealing new ways to break enemy spells each time a new type is encountered in battle. Additionally, “Reveal” features have been added to some special abilities of the playable cast, and combo points now remain after battle, offering new ways to initiate them or try different types of damage to break enemy defenses. A general balance adjustment has also been made to reflect these changes and player feedback since launch.
A renewed prologue: Combat has been implemented for the younger versions of our heroes. This new flow eliminates the flashback structure to start from its infancy, including the action directly in the prologue.
Additional cinematic scene: An entirely new scene has been added to accentuate a pivotal moment from the original adventure, called ‘Paths on Water’.
A relic for Speedrunner mode: This new item activates a number of useful features for those who want to set a new personal or world record.
Default difficulty settings: There are now three difficulty options available when starting a new game, preset with the use of relics. New relics have also been added, both for quality of life and difficulty adjustments.

The free DLC Throes of the Watchmaker will be released in autumn 2025, will feature a completely new plot, a new playable character and much more in the original adventure of Sea of Stars. In Throes of the Watchmaker, the main heroes of Sea of StarsValere and Zale, will venture into a magical world of miniature clocks, threatened by a cursed amusement park that forces the Solstice Warriors to adapt to unknown rules to fully master their Sun and Moon powers.
