This is going to be a big month for players of this asymmetrical multiplayer horror title. Not only The arrival of our favorite grave robber is approachingbut a long-awaited game mode is on the way. The 2 killers versus 8 survivors (2v8) mode of Dead by Daylight already has a release date.
During the special presentation celebrating the 8th anniversary, Behaviour Interactive confirmed that the rumored game mode was real and would be coming this month. The promise came true and they revealed when it will be available via this month’s roadmap.
This calendar, shared by the game’s official Spanish Twitter accountshows when all the content planned for this month is coming out. We have new skin collections, the release of the Lara Croft chapter and the game mode.
When does the 2v8 game mode come out? Dead By Daylight?
As you can see in the roadmap, the release date of the 2 assassins versus 8 players (2v8) game mode in Dead By Daylight will be the Thursday, July 25, 2024. Since this is a ‘modifier’ or limited-time game mode, we only have until Thursday, August 8, 2024 to play it. It will likely come back after that, but who knows when.
