Dragon Ball FighterZ will have rollback on PS5, Xbox Series and PC

Although it was not part of the main stage, we were able to enjoy an exciting tournament of the fighting game of Dragon Ball during EVO 2022. Many believed that the competitive scene for this title was dying, but they were proven wrong. Dragon Ball FighterZ is more alive than ever and has a great future ahead of it thanks to the announcement of the ‘rollback’ for the PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC versions.

In case you didn’t know, ‘rollback’ is a ‘netcode’ that allows for smoother online play. It does this by ‘rewinding’ some frames of animation so that the player’s actions are executed without ‘lag’ in most cases.

When it reaches Dragon Ball FighterZ con ‘rollback’ en PS5, Xbox Series y PC?

Bandai Namco has not yet confirmed the release date of this new version. What we do know is that players who have Dragon Ball FighterZ

for PS4 will be able to upgrade to the PS5 version, those for Xbox One will be compatible with ‘Smart Delivery’. In the case of the PC version, players will be able to choose to play with the new ‘netcode’ or the old one. The version with ‘rollback’ will have higher system requirements.
