Konami and developer M2 have pulled out what is perhaps their best collection of classic games among the Castlevania Anniversary Collection, Contra Anniversary Collection y Castlevania Advance Collection. Con Castlevania Dominus Collection We received three great exponents of the franchise, original to Nintendo DS: Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin y Order of Ecclesia. Like the games of Castlevania Advance CollectionIn this trio of games we find secrets and alternative endings that we will see below.
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
What are the endings of Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
Finish the second story of Soma Cruz (after Aria of Sorrow) is just the beginning. You might not notice that there are three different endings, similar to what was seen in Aria of Sorrow. You don’t need to repeat the whole game to unlock them, just save the game (or different states in Dominus Collection) before the sections we will explain below. After seeing one ending, you can load the game and discover the next one. The third ending is considered the true one.
Primer final (worse)
To get the first and worst ending, you must defeat Dario a second time in a melee fight, when you find him in the area called The Pinnacle.
Second ending (location)
Instead of fighting Dario in melee, use Paranoia’s soul to teleport to the mirror and fight his inner demon, Aguni. After defeating Aguni, obtain Magic Seal 5 and return to the Garden of Madness area. Enter the sealed door in the center of the area to see the second ending.
Third ending (better)
Before using Magic Seal 5 to open the sealed door in Garden of Madness, equip the Mine Talisman. You will bypass the second ending and continue playing, allowing you to enter the Mine of Judgement and The Abyss.
Secrets of Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
Just coffee
To play as Julius Belmont, the last of his line and destroyer of Dracula, you have to finish the game with the second or third ending. Along the way you will also recruit Yoko Belnades and Alucard, in reference to Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse.
Boss Rush
This mode is unlocked after defeating Menace at the end of the main game, or by defeating Soma at the end of Julius mode. Boss Rush lets you take on bosses in a series to get a high score. You can unlock secret weapons if you achieve fast times.
Hard Mode
Complete the game once to unlock this difficulty option.
Sound mode
Complete the game with the third ending and the sound mode will appear in the main menu. You can listen to all the music tracks in the game, as well as the voice clips.
Chaos ring
The Ring of Chaos makes magic points regenerate much faster. You need to collect 100% of enemy souls to unlock it in the list of equipable items.
Trophies
There are three secret items to pick up in the game that serve no real purpose, but are interesting for completionists. The first is a crown hidden in the Demon Guest House. There is a single room with a chair and a large bed. Sit on the chair to make the crown appear.
In Cursed Clock Tower, find a room covered in spikes with a small platform – also covered in spikes – near the top. Crouch on the platform (the only part not covered in spikes) and wait a second to summon the next trophy.
To get the third trophy, you must first find the Hippogriff’s soul. Find the room in the Dark Chapel with the large bells. Use the Hippogriff’s jump to crash into a bell and find the third trophy.
Roulette doors
There are three roulette doors in the castle that block the way to the secret rooms. When you touch these doors, the roulette will spin and display the last three digits of your gold total. To unlock these doors, the last three digits of your gold total must match the numbers engraved on the door.
Each of the three doors has a different number and reward. The numbers are:
Garden of Madness – [777] Three 7s: Clothing that increases Luck by +7, Defense +4, Constitution +7, and Intelligence +7.
Wizardry Lab – [666] Gold Ring: Ring that increases the amount of money dropped by enemies and luck based on the amount of gold in possession. Defense +1.
Cursed Clock Tower [573] Shaman Ring: Ring that gives more experience when walking or eliminating enemies. Defense +1.
Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin
What are the endings of Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin
The story of Jonathan Morris – heir to the Vampire Killer – and Charlotte Aulin – descendant of the Belnades – only branches off until the battle against Stella and Loretta. Getting the endings is not as varied as in its predecessor. Dawn of Sorrow.
Bad ending
To get the bad ending, simply defeat Stella and Loretta when you fight them in the Master’s Keep area of Dracula’s Castle. This is not the same battle as the one where you fight Stella alone.
Good ending
To get the good ending, you’ll need to save Stella and Loretta from their vampirism using the Sanctuary spell. Instead, defeat Stella and Loretta in the Master’s Keep battle. You’ll find the Sanctuary spell hidden in the eastern part of Sandy Grave.

Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia
What are the endings of Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia
Only two endings of very slight relevance are present in the story of Shanoa, the chosen warrior who absorbs glyphs.
Bad ending
To get this ending you don’t have to rescue all the villagers before defeating Albus. It’s not really an ending as you don’t see the credits, just the Game Over screen.
Good ending
Rescue all the villagers of Wygol and defeat Albus. It is practically the only ending of Order of Ecclesia.
