It was coming, but there’s no reason for fans of Capcom’s “other” dinosaur game to be sad. The company announced that content update 4 was the last of its Exoprimal and that this title will not receive any more seasons, collaborations or new features from now on. That, of course, does not mean that it will stop working because the servers will remain active for the foreseeable future. We can continue shooting dinosaurs without stopping.
The announcement was made through a post on the game’s official websiteThe message specifically says that “all planned seasonal content has ended.”
When season 4 ends Thursday, July 11, 2024Season 1 will be back and from then on we will be able to enjoy seasons 1 to 4 in a monthly cycle. Season 2 will return in August 2024, 3 in September, 4 in October, 1 will be available again in November, etc. That means that the collaborations with Monster Hunter y Mega Man that allowed us to obtain cosmetics inspired by those series will be available again.
We will also be able to purchase all season passes again. This means that all past cosmetics will be available again and we can obtain them through purchase or by playing (depending on whether they are in the free or premium route).
Despite the news that Exoprimal It won’t have any new content or seasons, but it’s still worth playing. As you can find out in our reviewis a supremely fun game. There are still plenty of people playing online so it’s easy to find a match and the rare times it has been filled with bots we’ve found them to be quite useful. If you haven’t already, we highly recommend checking it out.
