For several years, this Bethesda game has had us progressing through the board game tiles to claim each season’s rewards, but that will be a thing of the past. They recently announced “Duel with the Devil”, season 16 of Fallout 76and will be the first to use a more traditional system for rewards instead of the well-known SCORE boards
Fortunately, it won’t abandon the “pulp stories in the wasteland” theme that we love so much. This time, the theme revolves around Rip Daring, the cryptid hunter we already know from past seasons.
You can watch the trailer for season 16 ‘Duel with the Devil’ below.
Among the main rewards this season are the Rip Daring outfit and a new weapon: the Burning. This flamethrower can be created and modified in the weapon workbenches after reaching level 30. We can also unlock a new ally for CAMP: Adelaide, the actress Raidtron.
If you want the premium rewards (which appear with the 1st icon in the trailer) you must be subscribed to the Fallout 1st service or purchase a special season pass in the Atomic Store. Costs 1500 Atoms
When does season 16 start? Fallout 76?
The start date of the new season will be Tuesday March 26, 2024. You can find out more details at the official website of the game.
What will replace the SCORE board?
The new season pass system with pages reminds us a little of that of Fortnite. We will continue to achieve SCORE and rank up by completing daily and weekly challenges, unlocking season pages. We will receive 25 tickets each time we continue in rank and we can use them to claim rewards on the pages we have unlocked.
This new season arrives just a few weeks before long-awaited premiere of the series Fallout in Amazon Prime.
