As we already know, the business alliance between Electronic Arts and the International Federation of Associated Soccer fell apart last year, making the company behind the popular sports games unable to continue using the brand. We already knew that FIFA 24 it will not be a reality and although the federation is looking for someone to do the next game withthe actual replacement will be EA Sports FC whose name we already knew but which was finally officially announced with a new logo.
Through a post on MediumEA Sports revealed details about the new design and brand identity expressed in the logo with the initials FC (Football Club).
Interestingly, the releases don’t necessarily describe this new title as a game, but as a “platform.” Could it be that it will abandon the annual releases in favor of updates?
Although the game will not be supported by FIFA, the new title does have the support of many leagues. Among them are the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Women’s Champions League, LaLiga Santander, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Serie A, CONMEBOL Libertadores, Barclays Women’s Super League, NWSL and many more. Thanks to this, EA Sports FC will be the real replacement for FIFA 24 despite his name change.
EA did not reveal what the release date will be or details about the gameplay of its new title. If the tradition is maintained, should go on sale in the third quarter of 2023.
