During an official ‘streaming’ focused on mobile gaming Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier, Square Enix took the opportunity to show the ‘final’ trailer of FFVII Remake Intergrade. This is the upgraded version for PS5 that includes new content.
Although it began by showing some intense moments of Final Fantasy VII Remake With the graphical improvements, most of the trailer revealed more about the new campaign starring Yuffie Kisaragi in Intergrade. Here we see the ninja Wutai and her partner Sonon Kusakabe facing new enemies, such as a powerful combat armor piloted by Scarlet and a boss with strange powers, a curious mask and what appear to be mechanical wings. We also see a new invocation in the form of Ramuh.
This trailer for Intergrade gives us a look at the new version of Fort Condor. In the original title, this was a ‘tower defense’ minigame where we could get the Fenix summoning materia. Here we see that it has changed a lot. At first glance it made us think of ‘Auto-Chess’ games in the style of Teamfight Tactics, but we didn’t see enough to clearly understand how it will play.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, with the new Yuffie campaign, will go on sale on June 10, 2021. It will be exclusive to PS5 for at least six months. Here you can find our review of the version for PS4.
