This morning we met the Peacemaker trailer in Mortal Kombat 1. Additionally, the trailer revealed that the DC antihero — played by John Cena — will be available to Kombat Pass 1 holders starting February 28. Now, without anyone expecting it, NetherRealm Studio has confirmed that Peacemaker will not arrive alone. Since, the update that will be implemented to receive the arrival of Peacemaker to the game will add the ‘crossplay’ function to Mortal Kombat 1.
Recently, Mortal Kombat 1 It is at the center of criticism for how aggressive its microtransactions are, for the “quality” of the N intendo Switch version and other sins that we delve into in an article that you can read in the following link
Between which platforms will there be ‘crossplay’ in Mortal Kombat 1?
For the moment, NetherRealm Studio has confirmed that the update that will add crossplay to Mortal Kombat 1 It will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and the PC versions of Steam and Epic Games Store. Although they did not list Nintendo Switch, it is understandable that they play in a separate ecosystem, since it is a console with a large number of Wi-Fi connections and in the state in which the console runs the game, it could further affect the synchronization of the games. This is our guess, as NetherRealm has only said that the update is coming next week and that they will give more news. Perhaps only the implementation of ‘crossplay’ in the Switch version is delayed and will be released in the future.

In our review we rated it 8.5/10, a grade very similar to the general average. Among what we disliked about the game is the grinding of the invasions mode and the poor story, but if we had reviewed it a few weeks later we would have found more things to complain about.
