Last year we saw at several events a curious new game with which Square Enix threw its hat into the world of competitive multiplayer titles. It was immediately compared to the successful Splatoon from Nintendo and the most cynical have already dismissed it as an attempt by the company to take advantage of a trend. If you are curious anyway and are subscribed to PlayStation’s PS Plus Essentials service, you will be able to purchase Foamstars at no extra cost before its separate release date.
You can watch the new trailer below. This shows a bit of the gameplay where we have to shoot and increase the level of foam in which we can then ‘surf’ at high speed. Reveal the game modes Smash the Star, Happy Bath Survival y Rubber Duck Party, and confirms that we don’t need to turn to our friends to play. It can also be enjoyed alone.
When will it come out Foamstars in PS Plus?
It will be available for PS4 and PS5 among the February 2024 PS Plus Essential games. The date we can add Foamstars to our library will be between Tuesday, February 6 and Monday, March 4, 2024. If we do so, we will keep it for as long as we maintain our subscription to that service.
After that, the game will go on sale for $29.99 dollars (approximately 128,000 Colombian pesos).
