Fortnite already has its Christmas event: Operation Cooling

Holiday-inspired events are now live in games like Animal Crossing, Dauntless And till Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, but the most important of all is missing. Fortnite you are ready to celebrate Christmas with Operation Cooling, an event full of surprises and gifts for all players.

The event will take place between December 18, 2020 and January 5, 2021.

For starters, fighter jets are back! We can now find custom X-4 Storm Chasers from Cryomaniac to take the pitched battle to the skies. We can also disguise ourselves as a common snowman with the stealth cryocommand and freeze the feet of the rivals with chiller grenades. You can see all of this in action in the trailer.

How to get the Cryomancer and Frost Squad outfits

During Operation Cooling Fortnite we are going to find a good amount of missions that we can complete to get free rewards. These include the Surprise Safeguard Retro Backpack, Frost Spheres Pickaxe, and more.

If we complete nine missions of Operation Chilling, we will unlock the Cryomaniac outfit. To get the Frost Squad winter outfit we must complete 12. You do not need to have purchased the Season Pass to participate in these missions.

During Cooling Operation we will have different MPL rotating in Fortnite. At the moment the following have been revealed:
