The success of the small game from independent studio Innersloth continues to be felt strongly. As well as recently Call of Duty Introducing Double Agent mode, now we have the Imposters mode of Fortnite.
In this mode for ten players, eight of them will be agents of the Imagined Order and two will be impostors who must try to take over the bridge. Yes, it is basically a version of Among Us in Fortnite. As you can see in the trailer, this mode is tied to the mythology of the game.
Public voice chat is disabled in this game mode. Although we can talk in group chat, the idea is that we use gestures and the quick chat menu.
How to play with Agents
If it is up to us to play as one of the Agents of the Imagined Order, we must complete tasks such as calibrating chests and flames, repairing the battle bus, and submitting storm reports for analysis.
We also have to work as a team to find the impostors who are posing as agents. If we find the remains of an eliminated agent, we can report it so that each one can report who they believe the impostors are
How to play with Imposters
Same as in Among Us, the impostors of Fortnite They aim to eliminate enough agents to take control of the bridge before they are discovered. If we play with one we will have to:
- Disable tasks– Temporarily stops the progress of all tasks, freeing us up valuable time.
- Teleport players– Relocate all agents and imposters to another part of the bridge to cover our tracks.
- Bananin Group : for a brief moment, all the agents and impostors will look like Bananas to go unnoticed.
Like agents, imposters will have a list of tasks that they can complete to gain the trust of others.
When will the Imposters of Fortnite?
This game mode is now available since the arrival of update 17.40 on August 17, 2021.
