During Summer Game Fest 2023Bandai Namco held a presentation where he revealed to different specialized media several videos with the gameplay of Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. Thanks to these videos, the elements that have been borrowed from the ‘soulsborne’ and how the customization of the ‘mecha’ will be in Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon.
In the first video we see how the exploration is in Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. This is free, thanks to the mobility of the ‘mecha’ and alternates with distance and melee confrontations.
In the second video you can see combat and exploration in closed spaces. Additionally, we see the use that the radar that our ‘mecha’ has equipped will have to detect enemies even through walls.
Armored Core 6 will have colossal boss fights and a lot of resource management
In the third video we move away from exploration, the use of repair kits – which serve as “Estus” in Armored Core 6— and the checkpoints, to find out what the customization of the ‘mecha’ will be like and the battles against the bosses of Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. Fortunately, for the purists of this franchise, the customization options are present and continue to be as important as in previous installments. Additionally, the battles shared by FromSoftware —according to the first impressions of the game— perfectly integrate the formula that has popularized Hidetaka Miyazaki’s studio.
