It doesn’t matter if they already classified all of Hillys’ fauna in 2003 when the game originally came out and in 2010 when the HD version came out. Enough time has passed and they may have forgotten where all the creatures in the game are. That is why we are going to make a guide with the location of all the animals in Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition so you can complete your photo album.
This guide is in development. For now, all the animals we have found are in the same locations as in the original game, but we’ll see if we find any surprises.
southern lighthouse
Beetle (Adalia Octopuntata)
It is the first animal we find in the game and although it is not mandatory to take a photo of it, it is difficult to lose it because the story asks us to take at least two photos of animals to continue and this is the easiest.
Human (Homo Sapiens)
We can take a photo of any human character in the game, including one of the orphans in the southern lighthouse, to add this to the reel.
Yes. Humans count as animals.
Goat man (Capra Sapiens)
Another of the lighthouse orphans. He starts on the second floor, but eventually goes down and sits next to the radio.
Dog (Canis Canis)
Another of the easiest animal photos to take in this guide. Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition. He is lying on the second floor of the lighthouse.
Gull (Larus Albus)
We go up to the top of the lighthouse and it will be flying over the place.
Armadillo (Priodontes Campestris)
It appears at night next to the lighthouse entrance. It can also be found later in the mine.
Pig Man (Sus Sapiens)
Take photos of our favorite character Beyond Good & Evil: Uncle Zerdy.
Dipneustes Trilineatus
They are the fish that inhabit the lighthouse dock. We can find them when we go to ride the glider for the first time in the water.
Hillys (road to the Black Island)
Male Rhinoceros (Rhinoceros Sapiens)
Shortly after going out to sea, the glider will break down and we will have to visit the Mammagos Workshop. We just have to take a photo of any of the employees who work there.
Teratosaurus Imperator
Just after leaving Mammagos we will face our first boss aboard the speeder. Just be sure to take a photo of it before deleting it.
Scorpion foot (Rascaz Caeruleus)
After defeating the boss we can explore the waters of Hillys more freely. There are several points where we can find these fish jumping out of the water, but Zerdy will warn us the first time we approach one.
