Like every year, in 2024 Dead by Daylight is celebrating Halloween in October with the ‘Haunted By Daylight’ event, which adds new Halloween-themed gameplay, an event tome with new cosmetics, and more surprises. Let’s get to know them along with the start date of these festivities.

When does the Haunted by Daylight 2024 event start in Dead by Daylight?
The event will start on Thursday October 18, 2024.
What does the event consist of?
Just like last year, we will have portals that take us to the Void Realm, but there are big differences from the 2023 event.
The first and most notable difference is that There will be a portal open to the Void Realm from the start of a game of Dead By Daylight when the Haunted by Daylight 2024 Halloween event begins. Players will be able to gather energy to open up to four more portals.
In the Kingdom of the Void we will find “Wells of the Void”.
In the Wells we can spend Void Energy to obtain special abilities. They are the following:
- Void Skill for Survivors: The Void Crystal can be thrown to unleash a fog that will allow us to flee from a chase without leaving scratch marks.
- Void Skill for Assassins: We can release a Void Apparition that will chase the survivors and after a while it will detonate, causing the survivors to scream and reveal their location.
In the Realm of the Void there will be no generators, but there will be hooks that will transport the hanging survivors to the Realm of the Entity.
Take of the event
During ‘Haunted by Daylight 2024’ there will be a Halloween event volume in Dead By Daylight in which we can earn numerous cosmetics by playing games. Among these are new skins for Yun-Jin Lee and The Trickster.
We will also get pendants, banners, six new skeleton t-shirts for survivors and six new candy weapons for assassins.
Lastly are the rewards for logging in during the event. Depending on the days we log in we can receive Blood Points, Auric Cells, Rift Fragments and the first time we open the game during Haunted By Daylight 2024 we will get event coins.
