Only a few months have passed since the arrival of the DLC de Contra y Laboratory Updatebut we already have another one. Vampire Survivors has just been updated for free to version 1.11 and includes a ton of new secrets like a new map, the Dark Arcana called Darkanas, and special skins for Imelda and Poe Ratcho.
Before we tell you how to get all this, let’s watch the new trailer.

How to unlock the new map Vampire Survivors 1.11?
This map is called Room 1665. Let’s go to the Secrets menu and type «forbiddenbox» in the text field.
This is a dark stage where we have no Relics and where we have to defeat 100 enemies to advance to the next room.
New character skins
Character skins not only change their appearance, but give them new features.
- Imelda with vision: Complete the ‘World of Light and Darkness’ adventure mode at least once.
- Poe Ratcho removed: Complete the ‘Garlic Paradise’ adventure mode at least once.
If you have already met these requirements, you will have access to the skins after the update.
New Arcanas: Darkanas
We can access the ‘Darkasso’ with the new Arcanas or Darkanas after reaching the bottom of the new map Room 1665. Then we access using the new button that appears in the Randomazzo menu of Vampire Survivors after updating to version 1.11 and meeting the requirement.
The first five Darkanas available in the update are as follows:
- VI – Moonlight Bolero: Automatically unlocked alongside Darkasso. Spawns an additional boss every minute that may drop special chests with arcana or passive weapons.
- I – Sapphire Mist: Unlocked by completing a match with the Space Dude on -85% cooldown. Each time you fire an equipped weapon, there is a chance to fire it again.
- X – Hail from the Future: Unlocked by activating a Soul Purifier with Saint Ladonna. Each time you level up, new items appear on the map to collect.
- XII – Crystal Cries: Unlocked by activating Starry Skies with She-Moon Eeta. When health drops below 20%, an Orologion is activated. Defeating crystallized enemies generates Crystallized Souls that increase health and recovery.
- XXI – Wandering The Jet Black: Unlocked by reaching a maximum of 665 health with Bat Robbert. Losing health generates explosive projectiles.
