We are in the final countdown to the launch of the PS5 Prowhich will hit the market in a few days; specifically, this Thursday, November 7. Looking to get the most out of its powerful new hardware, Sony has confirmed which enhanced games for the device will be available from day one.
While it is true that some titles optimized for PS5 Pro had already been announced when the console was made official and during the most recent State of Play, this time the Japanese have provided a deeper look at the catalog in question. There are more than 50 games that will be able to fully exploit the capabilities of the console as soon as they reach the hands of buyers.
Despite the welcome improvements in performance and graphics quality that the PS5 Pro promises, many criticized Sony’s decision to introduce the console without a new game to exploit its full potential.
From PlayStation they had limited themselves to reporting that both the first-party and third-party proposals for PS5 would be updated for free to adopt improvements such as PSSR scaling technology and the ray tracing

There is no doubt that we are facing a more than interesting variety of titles to get the most out of the PS5 Pro. Keep in mind that, for some reason, it appeared on the PlayStation blog Arma Reforger on the list, but crossed out. We don’t know if this is an error, so we’ll keep an eye out for any updates to the original post.
As these are video games already available when the PS5 Pro makes its debut this November 7, the count does not include proposals that have not yet been launched, but which are already known to be optimized for the new console. The most notable case is that of Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eaterwhich still has no official date, although it is rumored that it will be released this month.
What about non-optimized games?
Beyond enhanced games, the PS5 Pro can run any that were developed for the mainstream PS5. But not only that. It is also backwards compatible with all PS4 titles that could run on the standard PS5, and even has important improvements for them.
In this sense, it is worth highlighting the introduction of PS5 Pro Game Boostwhich can stabilize or improve the performance of thousands of PS4 and PS5 games, and Enhanced Image Qualitywhich optimizes the resolution in select PlayStation 4 games.
Las specs definitive of the PS5 Pro
While we already knew that the PS5 Pro would hit the market with support for 8K resolutions, variable refresh rate, WiFi 7, and 2TB of storage, some of its final specifications were a mystery. Fortunately, a leak has allowed us to learn more about the hardware that powers the console.
According to a photo in the device manual which was published over the weekendthe PS5 Pro is equipped with:
- An AMD Ryzen (Zen 2) processor with 8 cores and 16 threads;
- A GPU (RDNA) with a performance of 16.7 teraflops;
- 16 GB of GDDR6 RAM, plus 2 GB of DDR5 memory for system work;
