Who said we need to spend hundreds of thousands of pesos to attend a concert? In recent years we have witnessed incredible musical experiences in games like Fortnite, which has allowed us to virtually enjoy the music of artists such as Ariana Grande Y Travis Scott. Now it was the turn of Minecraft, which surprised its players with a performance by the mega popular Korean group BTS.
During the performance we could see the ‘Bangtan Boys’ —Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook— in cubic and big-headed versions. They danced to short versions of two of their biggest hits: Butter Y Permission to Dance.
If you missed BTS’s performance at Minecraft or if you want to repeat it, you can see it below:
This isn’t the K-Pop band’s first brush with video games. They are the protagonists of the mobile game BTS World Y premiered the video clip with choreography by Dynamite
Now that the concept of the ‘metaverse’ is so fashionable, it is certain that this kind of “concerts” and musical experiences in video games is going to be more and more common. Which artist would you like to see digitally and in which game? We wait for your comments.
