You do not need to have PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold to participate in the trial. This has cross-generation support, but not between platforms.
The open beta of PES 2022 will be available until 7:00 pm on July 7, 2021 (Colombia time). Konami cautions that the purpose of this test is only to assess the quality of online matchmaking and play. Because of this, some game mechanics, animations, and other elements are not representative of the end game. Errors can also occur and the game may crash.
According to Konami, PES 2022 will be officially announced on July 21, 2022.
