December has been a month full of news for fans of Tekken 8, since they have released a demo with a preview of the story mode and several character trailers. Now, to finish 2023 and begin the countdown to the launch of Tekken8which is Friday, January 26, Bandai Namco has shared the presentation trailer for Kuma “The Salmon Master” on Tekken 8. So it’s time to review the story and some of the fighting moves we saw in the Kuma trailer in Tekken 8.
Who is he, how does he fight and what is Kuma’s story in Tekken 8?
For those who want to know who he is and what the history of Kuma is in Tekken 8we tell you that according to your person file in the official page this brown bear—which initially debuted in Tekken 3 — He is Heihachi Mishima’s second pet—his father Kuma I died of old age. Kuma II — who is smarter than his father — is now part of the Mishima Zaibatsu special forces, known as the Tekken Force. After the disappearance of Heihachi Mishima, Kuma (II) decides to protect the Mishima Zaibatsu from G Corp’s attacks, even if he is the only one left standing. Since, if the Mishima Zaibatsu falls, his master, Heihachi Mishima, will have no place to return to.
Kuma (II), now wears the Obi or belt of Heihachi’s uniform like a bandana and has adopted more Mishima-style moves into his arsenal of fighting moves. Even in the Kuma presentation trailer in Tekken 8, we see him using his own version of the Electric Wind God Fist, or EWGF. Additionally, upon activating his Rage Art, Kuma (II) reveals the true nature of the salmon he uses in battle.
