It seems that the enhanced versions of the games The Last of Us worked well for Sony, as it will do the same with another of its most popular franchises. The existence of a remastered version of Horizon Zero Dawn in development for PS5 has been rumored for a long time, but a leak from the ESRB has confirmed that it is real and should be announced very soon.
On September 18, 2024, an entry appeared for the remastered version of the first Aloy game — appropriately named Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered — in the ESRB database with a ‘T’ rating or appropriate for teens.
The ESRB or Entertainment Software Rating Board is the organization in charge of assigning age labels to video games. The appearance of a game in its database is practically a confirmation of its existence.
The leak confirms that Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered Not only will it be released for PS5, but also for PC. We don’t yet know its possible release date, but PlayStation should make an announcement very soon, probably at the State of Play presentation scheduled for this month.
