LEGO Racers it was a property known in the 1990s for its own sets and video games. The fame of movies turned into Lego tile sets put the company’s speed line a bit off. Fortunately 2K and developer Visual Concepts have announced LEGO 2K Drivea triple A open world focused on cars built with Lego blocks.
The game will come in three editions. The standard (only the game). The ‘Amazing Edition’ with a new vehicle, style, minifigure and a year’s driving pass. As well as the ‘Amazing Rivals Edition’, which includes multiple vehicles, styling, multiple minifigures and a year’s driving pass.
The “driving pass” in LEGO 2K Drive It works as a season pass. Thanks to this, players will receive a new biome and four individual post-launch seasons with new vehicles and themes. It can also be purchased separately. Pre-orders for the game include the “Aquadirt Racer Pack”, featuring an off-road car and a racing boat. Said package is also part of the amazing editions.
LEGO 2K Drive features single and multiplayer modes, story, variety of environments, races, mini-games, challenges, collectibles, and blocks to destroy. A diverse customization system allows players to build the vehicle of their Lego dreams with up to 1,000 unique parts. The game also features cars from Lego City, Creator, Speed Champions, the McLaren Solus GT and the F1 LM.
Up to six players can join in cooperative or competitive and two can play in split screen.
LEGO 2K Drive It will roll from May 19 on PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, Switch and PC.
