July 2024 is undoubtedly a great month for fighting game fans. Since, during this month, EVO 2024 will take place and this is taken advantage of by various developers to make announcements about their fighting games in development or updates and releases for those already on the market. So SNK and NetherRealm are joined by Bandai Namco, a developer that a week before EVO 2024 has revealed the release date of Lidia Sobieska, the next DLC character for Tekken 8.
When is Lidia Sobieska coming out or is it’s release date in Tekken 8?
During the Lidia Sobieska Tekken Talk livestream, it was revealed that the new DLC character will be released as Early Access on July 22, 2024. So the official release date for Lidia Sobieska for those who want to purchase her individually is July 25, 2024.
How does Lidia Sobieska fight in Tekken 8?
Previously, the IGN media shared a video showing how Lidia fights in Tekken 8. In the video, it’s clear that she has four different stances: Cat, Horse, Wolf Strike, and Sky and Earth. Her playstyle is based on keeping the opponent guessing with constant stance changes. Many of her moves will take her into one of her four stances, whether the attacks hit or are blocked.
Her Heaven and Earth stance is unique in that it is only accessible during Heat mode. Upon activating it, she gains a charge that enhances the damage of her moves for the rest of the fight. This can be done up to three times.
