Crossovers have become a fairly normal part of games as a service and it’s not even surprising to see real people appearing in video games. For example, recently we were able to play with rapper Snoop Dogg in CoD: Warzone y Vanguard. Now it seems that even footballers like Lionel Messi and Neymar will take shots at each other. Call of Dutybecause a rumor says that we would see them as operators in the expected Modern Warfare II
This information came to us from the leaker of Call of Duty The Ghost of Hope. This person mentioned these footballers along with others like Paul Pogba in a supposed list of operators that will come to the game.
Although this leaker is known to be spot on, the news seemed pretty absurd. Nevertheless, the presence of footballers Messi, Neymar and Pogba in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II it would also have been confirmed by the Insider Gaming website. This information is supposedly contained within the game code, but even this is not always accurate. In the past, details were found that suggested that Captain America and Indiana Jones would come to Vanguard
If the leak is real, it could fit in with the FIFA World Cup taking place in November 2022.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will go on sale for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X|S and PC on Friday, October 28, 2022
