The event of Pirates of the Caribbean in Fortnite It’s finally available and it’s no surprise because All of its content had been leaked almost a month earlierThe Jack Sparrow skin pass was accidentally released after the last update, and the Elizabeth Swann, Davy Jones, and Captain Barbosa outfits have been in the store for a few days now. Anyway, let’s see what other elements from this Disney movie saga await us in the game.
If you missed it when it was available by mistake, you can now purchase the special Cursed Sails pass that includes the skin of the infamous pirate Jack Sparrow played by the equally infamous Johnny Depp. It costs 1000 V-Bucks and we level up by completing the special missions of Pirates of the Caribbean
There are also cosmetics of Pirates of the Caribbean as free rewards for those who do not want to buy it. Among these are a retro backpack with the logo of the saga and Jack’s ship as a Glider. The latter we get if we complete enough missions of Pirates of the Caribbean in each of the ‘pirate code’ batches. A new batch will be available every two days.

The Black Pearl now occupies the map at the ‘Wrecked Ships’ point of interest.
New items
- Ship in a bottle: Summons a cursed ship that travels a short distance knocking down opponents and shooting at them before fading away. It can be found in the chests scattered around the pirate ship in Shipwrecks.
- Pirate cannons: They appear on Shipwrecks. We can adjust their direction and use them to launch ourselves to other parts of the map.
- Buried treasures: This item is not really new but it came out of the vault. By using it we can follow a sign to find a treasure with items like the matchlock gun and high rarity loot.
The event pass of Pirates of the Caribbean with the Jack Sparrow skin; Elizabeth Swann, Davy Jones and Barbosa outfits; Shipwrecks and new items will be available in Fortnite only until the Tuesday, August 6, 2024.
By the way, this is not the first time we see these pirates in a video game as special guests. Jack made a “surprise” appearance in Sea of Thieves in 2001.
