Nobuo Uematsu, known for being the composer of the vast majority of titles in the franchise Final Fantasyhas accepted – during a talk about the last installment of the reimagining of the seventh installment – that together with Tetsuya Nomura they will compose the main theme of the third installment of the ‘remake’ of Final Fantasy 7.

During the talk there is a review of how Uematsu created the themes for Remake y Rebirthand how the original 1997 music has been reinterpreted in the reimagining of Final Fantasy 7. The third part of the ‘remake’ of Final Fantasy 7 is in development —according to Square Enix— for PlayStation 5 y PC. However, we do not rule out the possibility of seeing the third installment of the reimagining of the story of Final Fantasy 7 on the next PlayStation console.
