2025 will be a big year for the Evolution Tournament Series. Since, the organization will carry out three editions – Europe, Japan and the USA. At the moment, we do not know the games that will have official tournaments in two of the three events in 2025. This is because today, the games that will be part of the official games of EVO Japan 2025 have been announced, among which the return stands out of Virtua Fighter to the most important fighting game event in the world.
What are the official tournaments of EVO Japan 2025?
The EVO organization has revealed that the 2025 edition will have six tournaments, in which they will face each other 1 against 1. In addition, EVO Japan 2025 will also have team tournaments – very popular in Japan – that will face groups of five people in Street Fighter 3: Third Strike y Virtua Fighter R.E.V.O.

When is EVO Japan 2025?
The EVO Japan 2024 finals took place on April 29. So after eight months since the conclusion of the tournament, it is normal that many are already wondering when EVO Japan 2025 is. Fortunately, we already know that the EVO in Japan will take place from Friday the 9th to Sunday the 11th of May 2025 at the Tokyo Big Sight.
