After the tournament Tekken 8 At EVO 2024, Bandai Namco’s game is preparing to receive the launch of Lidia and with it the arrival of update 1.06. Players who have purchased the Year 1 Character Pass will have immediate access to Lidia once the servers are back online, while those who have not pre-purchased her will have to wait until Thursday, July 25 to acquire her individually.

- 72-hour early access available to Year 1 Playable Character Pass owners. The Year 1 Playable Character Pass includes the following:
- Upgrade package TEKKEN 8 Deluxe Edition
- TEKKEN 8 Ultimate Edition
- TEKKEN 8 Deluxe Edition
- New ‘seaside resort’ battle stage added
- A spa-themed battle stage will be added for free.
- New feature “photo mode” added
- New features will be added to capture battle moments more attractively, including free angle control, various functions and filters.
- New items added to the tekken shop
- New battle pass «TEKKEN Fight Pass -Round 2-».
- During the specified period, players will be able to increase their level by completing daily and weekly quests in online battles, allowing them to obtain various items.
- In “ROUND 2,” quests will be added to make leveling easier even for players who do not frequently participate in online battles.
- In “ROUND 2”, leveling up to “FREE” grants “100 TEKKEN COINS”.
- By obtaining “PREMIUM”, which allows you to acquire more items than “FREE”, and leveling up, you can earn up to “600 TEKKEN COINS” from “PREMIUM” in addition to the “100 TEKKEN COINS” from “FREE”, for a total of “700 TEKKEN COINS”.

- In ‘MY REPLAY & TIPS’, modified so that the countdown timer does not count while the round timer is stopped due to actions such as Rage Arts when the character is controllable.
- Various other improvements and bug fixes have been implemented.
Scope of the update
- Applying the update data will have the following impact on each mode and feature.
- DOWNLOADED REPLAYS, MY REPLAYS & TIPS: Data from replays prior to the update will not be available for playback.
- ONLINE REPLAYS Replays prior to the update will be removed.
- SUPER PHANTOM BATTLE, “PHANTOM MATCH”: Character behavior and movement properties will reflect the state after the update.
