This week a long-awaited update finally arrived in the game with a new way to play. In addition to fixing some bugs, the update patch to version 1.0.7 added Assassin’s Creed Mirage the “Total synchronization” or ‘permadeath’ mode and a new ‘easter egg’ or easter egg: a mysterious member of the brotherhood of assassins is hidden in the game for us to find.
Who do you think it is? We reveal it at the end of this note.
How Full Synchronization or ‘permadeath’ mode works
After updating the game, we can start a new game in this mode from the main menu. In this game mode, Basim will go “out of sync” if he is eliminated, kills a civilian, or goes out of bounds of a mission.. If this happens, we cannot reload the game or restart the mission. We will see a statistics screen and we will have to start the game from the beginning again.
This mode is Total Synchronization or ‘permadeath’ Assassin’s Creed Mirage It is available in three different difficulty levels. If we manage to reach the end, we will obtain a cosmetic reward that depends on the chosen difficulty.
Total Sync or ‘permadeath’ mode rewards
- Learner Difficulty: Skull talisman
- Killer Difficulty: Rayhan White Suit
- Master Assassin Difficulty: gray dye for basic game costumes
But this is not the only new feature that the game has in this version.
Where is the “mysterious killer”? Assassin’s Creed Mirage?
We can find it by going through the streets of Ukbara, the northernmost town on the map.
And it is nothing less and nothing more than… A cat wearing the full master assassin uniform!
This may be a reference to the cats with the brotherhood symbol that can be found in other parts of the map and which proved very popular with fans.
You can find out more details about the update at the official patch notes.
