There may not be E3 this year, but there are a good number of events that serve as a replacement in which a large number of games are announced. Among them is the State of Play presented on June 2, 2022, in which they showed previews of long-awaited games such as Resident Evil 4 Remake, Street Fighter 6, Final Fantasy XVI (FF16) and many more.
We’re going to run through all of June’s State of Play games for PS4 and PS5, but remember that many of them are also coming to PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox platforms.
Resident Evil 4 Remake
Although we consider it somewhat unnecessarythe long rumored ‘remake’ of the beloved Resident Evil 4 was one of the games confirmed for PlayStation 5 in June’s State of Play. will go on sale on March 24, 2023.
Resident Evil Village (PS VR2)

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners Ch2 (PS VR2)
The sequel to the game based on the popular zombie franchise is coming to PS VR2 for PS5 later in 2022.
No Man’s Sky (PS VR2)
The virtual reality version of this game will come to PS VR2 for PS5 at a later date.
Horizon Call of the Mountain (PS VR2) and update for Horizon Forbidden West
In addition to showing more about the game of Horizon exclusive for PS VR2, which does not yet have a release date, announced a new update for Forbidden West which adds New Game+, a new difficulty and improvements to this title. You can read more about this title by following this link.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered

Stray
In this June State of Play they finally revealed the release date of the cyberpunk cat game: July 19, 2022 for PS4 and PS5. It will be available at no extra cost to PS Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe subscribers.
The Callisto Protocol
This horror game that reminds us so much of Dead Space Coming to PS4 and PS5 on December 2, 2022.
Rollerdrome
This flashy game about a futuristic blood sport will be available on August 16, 2022 for PS4 and PS5.
Eternights
This ‘anime’ title that combines action with a dating simulator will be released for PS4 and PS5 at early 2023.
Street Fighter 6
The new installment of Capcom’s popular fighting game series, which will feature an exploration game mode, is coming to PS4 and PS5 in 2023as revealed in this State of Play.
Tunic
The PS4 and PS5 version of one of this year’s most celebrated indie games will arrive on September 27, 2022.
Season: A letter to the future
This was another indie game featured at June’s State of Play. It will go on sale for PS4 and PS5 the last quarter of 2022.
Final Fantasy XVI (FF16)
According to this State of Play, FF16 It will arrive with its epic summon battles in the third quarter of 2023.
