What is Reynatis?
NIS America describe Reynatis as follows:
Reynatis is an ‘action RPG’ set—on the streets of Shibuya, Tokyo—in a world where fantasy meets reality. In this world, the citizens of Shibuya fear magic and the power it holds. For this reason, mages are forced to hide their inhuman abilities or face oppression.
Seeking freedom through strength, magician Marin heads to Shibuya, where he meets Sari, an officer of the MEA, an organization dedicated to keeping magicians under control. Hide your magic to explore the city as a normal civilian and buy or accept quests, or use your explosive powers to reach new places and fight those who stand in your way. During this trip we will also visit a place called Another. This is an alternative world full of monsters and mysteries to discover. In this way we will have access to power and magic alternating between Oppressed mode, focused on evasion, and Liberated mode. This allows you to unleash devastating magic.
