We were all anxiously waiting for January 21, 2022 to finally get our hands on the new work from FromSoftware, creators of the popular saga Dark Souls. But we found out that the release date of Elden Ring has been postponed and will soon be your closed beta test.
According to Bandai Namco, distributors of the game, this delay occurs because “the depth and strategic freedom of the game have exceeded initial expectations.”
What is the new release date for Elden Ring?
This game will arrive on February 25, 2022 to PS4, PS4, Xbox One, Series X | S and PC. This is just over a month after the previously announced date.
How to participate in the closed beta test of Elden Ring
Despite the postponement, we will be able to test the game before it officially comes out. Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that it will hold a closed beta test of Elden Ring.
To participate, they have to access the website http://www.eldenring.com/CNT, verify your date of birth – only adults can participate – and subscribe using a valid email address.
The closed beta will take place between November 12-14, 2021 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series X / S users. They will receive the instructions to participate in the email they used to register when this date approaches.
