One of the most annoying restrictions that the game has Marvel’s Avengers is that it does not allow us to have repeated characters in a team, but that was over thanks to the ‘Tachyon Anomaly’ event.
This time, we have a justification for having two, three, or four Black Widows fighting together. AIM is to blame, as his experiments manipulating time have caused periodic tachyon anomalies. When they happen, Avengers from different timelines can converge in a single location and join forces to fight.
When will the Tachyon Anomaly event take place in Marvel’s Avengers?
The first tachyon anomaly event will begin on April 22, 2021 and will end on May 3. Of course, since the game’s matchmaking system is random (unless we play with friends), there is no way of knowing which team will play us.
What are the rewards for the Tachyon Anomaly?
During the event time we will find a weekly quest chain. If we finish it, we will get the hivemind team set. We will also find temporary assault badges. These animated badges are the reward for completing the weekly quest chain for the first time.
There will also be specific animated badges available in the store:
- April 22-29: Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Hulk
- April 29 – May 6: Iron Man, Captain America, Ms. Marvel, Kate Bishop
Tachyon Rift Missions
During the Tachyon Anomaly event, multiple Tachyon Rift missions will also appear at the same time. These are usually for high-level characters, but this time they will be adjusted for heroes of level 1-100 power.
To unlock the Tachyon Rift missions, players must complete the SHIELD Substation Zero Mission Chain in the Pacific Northwest.
