Resident Evil Village it is finally for sale. Players can now visit the mysterious European village overrun by lycans and hide from Lady Dimitrescu in her castle while pretending they don’t want her to catch them. Those who purchased the ‘trauma pack’ DLC package – included in some of the special editions – were surprised to look at the concept art it includes. This reveals that another very popular character in the saga was also going to appear in this title.
That’s right, everything indicates that Capcom had planned to include Ada Wong in Resident Evil Village.
According to the art director’s comments, a mysterious masked character was going to save Ethan Winters of the ‘judgment’ to which he is subjected. It would eventually be revealed to be Ada Wong. This was removed due to conflicting scenarios.
We imagine that Ada Wong’s many fans will be disappointed that she doesn’t finally appear in Resident Evil Village. But let’s not lose hope of seeing her again. Their ‘plague doctor’ mask design is great and they can still take advantage of it in a hypothetical DLC.
Resident Evil Village, the eighth major installment of this popular ‘biopunk’ franchise, is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X | S, PC and Google Stadia.
