By the end of 2020, Epic Games launched the ‘Reboot a Friend’ program. This invited the most active players of Fortnite to bring back those who left the ‘Battle Royale’. In return, both the host and the guest could get rewards.
Now, 4 months later, Epic has brought this initiative back.
How to participate in ‘Restart a friend’ in Fortnite
Like the last time, Players must go to this website and log in with their Epic Games account. There, they will find out if there are users on their friends list who have not played for 30 days or more. If they meet this condition, they can be ‘rebooted’. If there are no friends who meet the requirements, players can earn points by selecting any friend on the list. However, they will not be able to claim the initial 100 point bonus.
How long will ‘Restart a friend’ last?
The ‘Reboot a Friend’ program will be available to all players of Fortnite between 2:00 AM on April 6 and 1:59 AM (Colombia time) on April 26.
What rewards can players get from Fortnite through ‘Restart a friend’?
There are a total of 4 rewards for players of Fortnite who participate in ‘Restart a friend’: the spray Reboot a friend, Heartbeat paper, the Toxic Flash glider and Plasma Carrot Peak. It should be noted that these rewards are not exclusive.
How can you get the rewards?
Both guests and invitees can unlock rewards by playing together. These will be delivered within 7 days of unlocking them. Playing a game with a rebooted friend earns a bonus of 100 points each. Then each game will award 10 points.
How many friends can reboot?
Up to three friends can be rebooted at the same time.
