The ‘Monsterverse’ expands to the world of video games. The movie Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire It’s probably going to be postponed because of the strikes in Hollwood, but in the meantime we can enjoy the battles of huge titans in the game. Skull Island: Rise of Kong.
This new title is developed by the Chilean studio Iguanabee and published by GameMill Entertainment. It will be a third-person action game in which we control a young Kong who seeks to avenge the death of his parents by the enormous Gaw, a creature that appears in the franchise’s novels and comics. It will serve as a prequel to the movies.

Before you get your hopes up, it doesn’t look like Godzilla or the other Titans are going to make an appearance in this game. Still, it looks like a pretty fun adventure.
The game Skull Island: Rise of Kong It will be out for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and for PC via Steam at in the third quarter of 2023.
