Modus Games along with developer Secrect Base have shared a new trailer for the free DLC of Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons. This DLC will add three new characters, two new modes, online cooperative play and even a new difficulty level to the game Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons.
What are the new characters that come to Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons along with its free DLC?
Ranzou and Sonny Lee return in “Sacred Reunion”, the free DLC of Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons to confront the gangs of New York. These two characters have not been present in a game of the franchise since Double Dragon IV.
All three characters have unique play styles and fighting abilities. Each of them will be available in all modes, including the recently revealed “Survival mode.” In addition to also adding an online cooperative multiplayer mode for Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons, “Sacred Reunion” will have a versus mode. In this, players will face each other using playable characters from the story mode. The other “improvements” listed in the statement that came out with the new trailer have not been detailed. However, more information is expected to be known before the release of “Sacred Reunion.”
Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons It is now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC through Steam. Its free DLC “Sacred Reunion” will arrive on April 4, 2024 on all the platforms listed above.
