EVO Japan 2023 officially started and the announcements about fighting games have not been long in coming. The first of these announcements, which fighting game fans are looking forward to, has come via Cygames. The Japanese developer shared a new preview of Granblue Fantasy Versus: Risingwhich reveals that Siegfried will be one of the new characters that Arc System Works will add to the fighting game based on the Cygames franchise.
In Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising Siegfried joins his companions Lancelot and Percival. So of the four Dragon Knights, three are already playable characters in the fighting game developed by Arc System Works.
Siegfried fights with a broadsword and is known as the “dragon slayer” for defeating the dragon Fafnir. His element is earth, so we may see earth magic in Siegfried’s fighting moves in Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising.
When is the open beta of Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising?
According to the trailer of Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising Shared during the first day of EVO Japan 2023, the title developed by Arc System Works will have an open trial period for PlayStation 4 and PS5 users. At the moment it is the only information we have about this trial period, so we cannot say whether it will be necessary to have the PlayStation Plus subscription active or not.
