Rocket League Octane Tank, Glider Gun, and Other New Features

Chapter 3 will soon come to an end, but there will be news on the way. The update to version 22.40 is available for Fortnite from the morning of November 15, 2022 and added novelties to the pitched battle such as the Octane tank from Rocket Leaguethe hover gun and a new 40v40 game mode.

Let’s see one by one these additions.

The Octane car Rocket League arrives at the pitched battle of Fortnite

Recently we were able to test these vehicles in creative mode

, but we already have them available in the pitched battle modes. By driving one of the soccer playing cars we can use its rocket boosters to reach incredible speeds. We can also jump, double jump, dodge, drive through walls and practically fly.

With the 22.40 update patch, the Rocket League Octane tanks, the hover gun, the Big Battle mode and more are coming to Fortnite.

Octane is not available in competitive modes

The glider gun

If we shoot on a solid surface we will be shot and we will be able to deploy the glider. It is perfect for making a quick escape in case of an ambush or to regroup in case a confrontation goes wrong.

We can already find the glider gun on the ground, chests, chrome chests and supply drops of Fortnite after upgrading to version 22.40. Loads are limited.

New Limited Time Game Mode: Big Battle

In game mode or MTL Big Battle of Fortnite Two teams of 40 players will face each other. The game begins with the storm closing in on the first zone and players will have rare items in their arsenal. That allows the action to start immediately.
